  • Ping An Good Doctor, an online platform to consult doctors remotely, completed a $500M Series A round of financing. Link
  • Talkspace, an NYC-based provider of an online therapy platform, raised $15M in Series B funding led by Norwest Venture Partners. Link
  • RetraceHealth, a concierge care provider using nurse practitioners, was funded $7M in Series A round of funding. Link
  • Vios Medical, a remote patient monitoring system, raised $3.98M in Series A round of funding. Link
  • WeCounsel Solutions, a Chattanooga-based telemedicine software company, closed a Series A equity funding of $3.5M. Link
  • Avizia, a real-time video collaboration platform, raised $3.1M in Series B round of funding. Link
  • ReGroup Therapy, an on-demand provider of virtual mental health teams to health entities, raised over $1.8M in a seed round. Link
  • Fruit Street Health, a telehealth software solutions provider, raised $1.4M in crowdfunding from 120 physicians. Link
  • PurpleHealth, an on-demand health platform, raised $100k from Katabole Technology Venture. Link
  • iCliniq, an online doctor consultation platform, raised an undisclosed amount in an angel round from an Erode-based laparoscopic surgeon MadhanKumar Madathupalayam. Link
  • Visit, Delhi-based on-demand healthcare service provider raised an undisclosed amount in seed funding from tech company MapmyIndia. Link
  • Connecture, a technology company that builds online health insurance marketplaces, acquired ConnectedHealth, a platform that makes it easier for consumers and employees to shop for personalized health insurance online. Link

 (2002, Dallas, IPO) – Telemedicine provider offering web and mobile based video consultation. Backed by Cardinal Partners, HLM Venture Partners, Trident Capital, New Capital Partners, Jafco Ventures, Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers, Greenspring Associates, BNY Mellon, Questmark Partners, FLAG Capital Management. Went public in June 2015.
American Well (2006, Boston, $123M) – Telehealth platform that connects users with doctors. Backed by Inventure Partners.
Specialists On Call (2004, Reston, $112M) – Telemedicine services for Tele-Neurology, Tele-Psychiatry and Tele-Intensivist. Backed by Warburg Pincus.
Doctor On Demand (2012, SF, $87M) – Telemedicine services based on a pay-per-use model. Backed by Venrock, Shasta Ventures, Qualcomm Ventures.
MDLIVE (2009, Sunrise, $74M) – Online and on-demand telemedicine services. Backed by Bedford Funding, Heritage Group, Sutter Health, Kanye Capital.

iRhythm Technologies (2006, SF, $95M) Remote cardiac rhythm monitoring device. Backed by Mohr Davidow Ventures.
AirStrip (2003, San Antonio, $65M) Mobility solutions for providers to access patient data remotely. Backed by Wellcome Trust, Sequoia Capital, West Health Institute, Qualcomm Ventures.
Watermark Medical (2008, Boca Raton, $45M) Home sleep testing solutions to determine presence and severity of obstructive sleep apnea. Merged with SleepMed. Backed by Ballast Point Ventures.

MD Revolution (2011, San Diego, $34M) Platform for healthcare providers to predict and prevent chronic disease via behaviour change. Backed by Jump Capital.
Healthsense (2001, Mendota, $33M) Remote monitoring, emergency calls and wellness management solutions. Backed by Radius Ventures, Merck & Co., Mansa Capital, Merck Global Health Innovation Fund.

Tele-Rehabilitation
Pursuant Health (2007, Atlanta, $29M) Interactive healthcare platforms and kiosks. Backed by WellPoint, Novartis, Dell, Coinstar.

Tech Enablers
InTouch Health (2002, Santa Barbara, $34M) Proprietary communications and mobile robotic platform. Backed by Acacia VP, iRobot, Beringea.
